Service information and termsHave you been offered cheaper private flights?
Not every private flight offered commercially is operated by companies and aircraft licensed to carry passengers.
A private aircraft can be used for private flights, but that does not mean it is authorized to provide commercial air transport services. In Argentina, these services must be provided by operators licensed by ANAC, Argentina’s civil aviation authority, holding the corresponding Air Operator Certificate (AOC, known in Argentina as CESA).
This license requires a technical, operational and administrative structure, specific requirements for aircraft maintenance, crew training and checks, operational oversight, and adequate insurance for passenger transport. Meeting these requirements involves significant operating costs, which can explain large differences between fares.
Before booking, we recommend checking three things: that the operator holds a current CESA, that the aircraft is listed in the annexes of its AOC and approved for the service booked, and that it carries adequate insurance for that operation.
At Argentina Fly we work exclusively with operators and aircraft licensed for the air transport services we offer.
Is the fare per person or per aircraft?
The fare covers the entire aircraft and is not charged per passenger: the price is the same whether one person flies or several. The exception is international flights, where departure taxes are charged for each passenger.
How is a round trip priced if I stay several days?
It depends on the length of your stay and on aircraft availability. For same-day returns, the aircraft usually stays at the destination. If your stay includes one or more nights, additional overnight charges may apply. For longer stays, it may be more cost-effective for the aircraft to return to its base and come back for you on the scheduled date.
Our online quote tool takes these options into account based on the dates and times you select. Even so, we always recommend checking each case with us.
Which costs are not included in the fare?
Flights within Argentina are subject to 10.5% VAT, except for operations covered by the exemptions that apply to Tierra del Fuego.
International flights may carry additional fees abroad, such as airport charges, parking, dispatch, flight support, handling and FBO, among others.
These amounts are shown as estimates in our online quote tool and are confirmed with the operator’s final quote.
