The distance from Buenos Aires is approximately 437 km. Miramar Aerodrome (MJR) receives private flights from San Fernando in 1 h 10 min to 2 h 25 min depending on aircraft (turboprop or piston twin). Mar del Plata Airport (MDQ), about 45 km to the north, remains an alternative with greater infrastructure when the itinerary requires it. Direct commercial service to the area is limited; private aviation eliminates four to five hours of driving in season.

Best time to visit

The high season is concentrated between December and March, with January being the busiest month. The nursery and lagoon can be visited throughout the year, and autumn offers pleasant temperature conditions for those looking for a destination outside of the summer peak.
