Olavarría is the heart of Argentina's cement industry: a central Buenos Aires city surrounded by low sierras, historic quarries and cattle country. Its Circuito Turístico Serrano and Sierras Bayas —with Loma Negra mining heritage and century-old plants— offer landscape, industrial patrimony and authentic countryside less than an hour's flight from Buenos Aires.
Tour the Circuito Turístico Serrano: viewpoints, Sierras Bayas, trails such as Aventura con historia and the Museo Histórico y Minero. Party estancias with partridge and tinamou shooting; horseback riding and field polo in spring and summer. The low Tandilia sierras suit trekking and 4×4 tours.

Olavarría airfield (OVR / SAZF) is about 308 km from Buenos Aires. From San Fernando (FDO), private flight covers the distance in 40 to 55 minutes. For dawn shoots or same-day visits to the hill circuit, it removes more than three hours of driving.
