Saint Martin is a twin island in the eastern Caribbean, shared between France (Saint-Martin) and the Netherlands (Sint Maarten), home to some of the North Atlantic's most exclusive resorts. For UHNW travellers from Buenos Aires, private aviation is the only access mode that preserves the discretion and comfort this destination demands.
White-sand beaches such as Orient Bay, Baie Longue and Maho in Sint Maarten; elite sailing-regatta circuit; luxury catamaran and yacht charter; duty-free shopping in Philipsburg; exclusive nightlife on Grand Case Boulevard, recognised as the Caribbean's gastronomic capital.
La Samanna (Oetker Collection) in Baie Longue is the island's reference property; The Morgan Resort & Spa in Sint Maarten and Belmond La Samanna offer beachfront suites with private villa service and reserved beach access.
Saint Martin has more than a hundred restaurants in just 87 km², with Franco-Caribbean cuisine, fresh lobster, cod accras and top-tier French wines. Grand Case village concentrates tables with international Michelin pedigree and reference bistros.
Access is via Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM) in Sint Maarten or Grand Case Aerodrome (SFG) on the French side. From Buenos Aires, flight time is approximately 7 hours in a midsize jet with a technical stop, or just over 7 hours non-stop in a large jet. Private aviation removes Miami or Bogotá connections required by commercial flights and allows direct arrival at an FBO terminal with private transfer to villa or resort.
Peak Caribbean season runs December to April, with dry weather, average 27 °C and low rainfall. July and August are also popular with European visitors. Hurricane season spans June to November, with highest risk between August and October.
