Río Tercero is a Córdoba city of about 50,000 on the Río Tercero reservoir, one of central Argentina's largest artificial lakes. An agribusiness and industrial centre housing the Embalse Nuclear Complex —operated by INVAP and Nucleoeléctrica Argentina— and a diversified industrial zone in the Córdoba interior.
