Puerto Deseado is a port city in Santa Cruz on its namesake estuary, 1,597 km from Buenos Aires. Ría Deseado Natural Reserve hosts one of the South Atlantic's most diverse coastal ecosystems, with penguins, cormorants and Commerson's dolphins.
